I am testing my memory here again, but I believe that Paul died shortly after graduating from college. He was working for Proctor and Gamble. He was a type I diabetic and was found dead, presumably from a diabetic coma, in his car.
I remember Paul quite well from Allderdice, and he was simply an all-round good guy, decent, funny and grown up early. I should have written this earlier, but he was an excellent high school colleague...Rick Vatz.
