Carolyn was a lovely person. I was very sad to learn of her death. I hadn't seen her in many years, but a mutual friend mentioned her occasionally and sent me her obituary. She was waiting for a kidney transplant, but when her need became imperative, unfortunately, her name was not at the top of the list.

I remember spending many Friday night's at the True's. Carolyn's Father made me a violin my sophomore year and I cherrshed it through college. One night I walked in & found Mrs. True & Carolyn's sister standing on chairs in the living room with the cat asleep in the middle of the floor & a mouse just running around the room. Lots of great memories.

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Carolyn's passing. She was a sincere, authentic and kind person and I have very fond memories of her.

Carolyn was a close childhood friend of mine. She lived on my street, and we visited each other's houses quite often. I have vivid memories of the fun we had and of her interesting family. Her sister Evelyn was a fine actress, her father made violins, and her mother called the TV newscasters, Chet Huntley and David Brinkley, "Hinkle Dinkle". I am so shocked and saddened to know that she's gone.

Carolyn and I were best friends through most of high school. We spent many days at her aunts Frank Lloyd Wright student-designed home and at her family's house on Beechwood. She was always cheerful and upbeat.
