     One of my few giddy memories from high school was Mr. Rankin's class -- whom Rick called "Strankin" ("Mr. Rankin"  slurred) - wherein Henry Henry, Rick and I laughed consistently (I know -- utterly irresponsibly) inside at Mr. Rankin's out-of-it-ness.  Rick introduced me to deadpan humor in that class.

     Just a great guy -- Rick Grove...to be sorely missed...

Henry Henry (Herskovitz)

Good memory, Rick. Yes, Ricky Grove was the first to challenge authority, esp when Mr. Rankin came off as such a pompous teacher. Ricky could have been the Mudhead character in Firesign Theater's "Porgie and Mudhead" series ... one of the many I would have liked to have met as an adult
