Jim  and  I  grew  up  in  Greenfield  together.  We  were  like  brothers,  attending  Greenfield  school  then  Allderdice.  I  have  many  memories  and  stories  that  I  could  tell  for  hours.  Jim  introduced  me  to  my  wife, Patti,  and  was  the  pastor  at  our  wedding  44  years  ago.  I  will  miss  him  greatly.

It was in 11th grade that Jimmy, as we knew him, began telling us at Sixth Presbyterian Church youth group that he was thinking about a career in the ministry.  Most of us hadn't a clue about what career path we would follow.    Sounds like he made good on all his intentions and made a difference in many lives.
