Freddie and I became good friends during our Senior year. He was very active in our social fraternity, a good all-round athlete, had a great sense of humor, and could  give you advice that you might actually take to heart. Most importantly, he introduced me to Barbara when we were in college.  For that alone, I'll always be greatful to and fondly remember Freddie Friss.

Freddie always made me laugh!  A funny, witting, and all around great-to-be-around person.

I went through Whiteman School with Fred.  He was always fun to be with and always had a kind smile.

I am sure his family is missing him.  I send my condolesences to them.

Saddened to learn that Fast Freddy has left us. Captain of the Team, whether softball or six man touch, playing baseball between the bottom of Forward Avenue and the Parkway on ramp, a man to visit when he moved to Cleveland, even if Stu Samuels and I didn't tell anyone except Stu's grandmother where we where going in my grandfather's 1956 Chevy. We looked up to him. He was that kind of guy. Fondly remembered.
