Either I didn't know Nancy or she was a passing acquaintence at Allderdice that I can't recall; however, after reading her obituary and about her life's work, it's clear to me that her achievements brought honor to our class and school. As a highly valued member of our community, she will be very much missed.
My comment is very similar to Richard's. I knew Nancy only by name and face at TAHS. After reading her obituary outlining her lifetime of work for the public good, I am proud and honored that she was a classmate. She clearly was an extraordinary human being. I hope we will soon have comments posted by those who were close to her.
I remember Nancy well. We went to grade school and high school. In grade school she and I played together. Nancy always was kind to me. As the years passed, we driffted apart, so I will remember her generosity from our youth.
