A very good friend through Swisshelm Park grade school and Taylor Allderdice. Tony and I and our wives would get together when I visited Pittsburgh. A very kind, thoughtful, courageous man who loved his family and went through non-alcoholic liver disease, liver cancer and a liver transplant, and subsequently formed a foundation to help others. He wa a lover of sports especially the Pirates and Steelers. Besides playing first base on our 14th Ward Little League Bucs team. Tony developed a professional analysis of the NFL Draft that was used by some NFL teams. Tony never gave up on anything, and fought his illness humbly and courageously.
