Marie was a Lincoln Place girl who lived a short distance from me. She had a long, successful career in nursing. I went to grade school and junior high with her too at Mifflin. A good friend. She will be missed.
I have many great memories of Marie from Mifflin School, Street Car and Bus rides, walks to the skating rink. Unfortunately, I moved after high school to the west coast and lost touch.
Marie will ineed be missed. I had only seen her off and on over the years. But I do agree with Josie. Some of my best memories of high school were the street car and bus rides in the morning with all my Mifflin cohorts. God speed, Marie.
